About Us

Yihe Wang, George Martin, and Henry Miller are a group of 8th-grade students attending Rincon Valley Middle School. They all developed their passion for music from a young age. Each of them is still dedicated to improving their skills as a musician, as well as trying to branch out to different forms of music. They are all involved in both the RVMS band program and the Santa Rosa Youth Ensembles.

For years, Yihe has been studying violin under Richard Loheyde, the former Youth Orchestra Conductor. He plays in both the Youth Orchestra and the Young People’s Chamber Orchestra. He also is the principal cello player in the RVMS advanced orchestra, and plays Bass in RVMS jazz band. Finally, he is a Mentor for string players in the Santa Rosa Accelerated Charter program.
